Karen Sanders

Karen SANDERS is Professor of Communication in CEU San Pablo University (Madrid), where she directs the Department of Advertising and Institutional Communication, and visiting professor at IESE Business School. Karen worked at the University of Sheffield until 2006 where she was MA director. President of the Association of Political Communication (ACOP) and director of the Research Centre of Communication Trends of CEU San Pablo University, Karen is a specialist in political communication and ethics and the media. She has published widely in these fields including Ethics and Journalism (Sage, 2003, translated into several languages) and Communicating Politics in the 21st Century (Palgrave Macmillan, 2009).

She has worked in public affairs and media and parliamentary relations and continues to carry out consultancy work in the communication field.
